The largest solar polysilicon project started in Jinan, Shandong

Date:2021-08-23 10:13:51

Yesterday, the country’s largest solar polysilicon project with an investment of 1.1 billion yuan and a total investment of 9 billion yuan settled in Jinan Shanghe during the financial crisis and became the biggest attraction in the “winter” of the domestic solar energy industry.

The solar polysilicon project invested and constructed by Shenglang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has an investment of 1.1 billion yuan in the first phase, and the first phase is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2009. Relevant personnel of Shenglang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. told reporters that the financial crisis squeezed out the huge bubble in the photovoltaic industry, causing the prices of all raw materials and products related to the photovoltaic industry to drop generally, such as silicon, steel, cement, equipment, etc. It is the price of silicon material that has greatly reduced the cost price of photovoltaic products. The cost price of photovoltaic power generation 1 yuan/kWh will be realized in 2015.

According to reports, Shenglang Solar's polysilicon and solar cell project has a planned total investment of 9 billion yuan. It is planned to cover an area of 700 acres and will be constructed in three phases. After it is completed in 2012, it will reach the annual production capacity of 2000MW solar polysilicon and 1000MW solar cells.

Affected by the financial crisis, many domestic industries are currently shrinking. Shenglang has invested so much in the photovoltaic industry. Mr. Zhang Kanghui, the president of a company that has been engaged in import and export trade in the European and American markets for many years, introduced: Zhang's long-term purchase order from the United States, coupled with the decline in the cost of solar power generation, especially the country recently introduced a number of policies to support the development of new energy, so that photovoltaic power generation has the possibility of competing with conventional energy sources, and the photovoltaic industry is expected to face the economic crisis A fast-developing sunny day is ushered in the cold winter of China."
